Story
On Saturday (12th) we woke up to our sweet girl having trouble breathing and rushed her to the vet, since then the news has only got worse.
Èowyn is now at the Royal vetinary college awaiting an operation to remove several absesses from her right lung.
The vets still do not know the cause but her care costs are extremely high and insurance will only cover a part of it, the current estimate is £12,000. Without the support, our only alternative is unthinkable.
We thought we had good cover for her but this condition is much more than expected. Any support would be hugely welcome.

1 year agoÈowyn made it through surgery, she had to have two lobes of her lung removed and had a pneumothorax as they were closing her. She was discharged into the ICU and was doing well but more fluid has been accumulating which is making it hard for her to breathe so she's having to be drained again. We're at a really awful stage where she's not getting any better but (touch wood) she's also not getting any worse. The vet bills are currently at £16,000 and our insurance only covers part of it.

I can't resist a poorly kitty cat even though we've never met. I know how devastated I'd be if it was my Pickle that was unwell. Sending lots of purrs and headbonks to Eowyn xx
