Weʼve raised £779 to help fund enough money for a lollipop person to keep our children safe coming to and from school every day for a whole year at EVS

Funded on Saturday, 24th February 2018

    Story

At Emerson Valley School the safety of our children is always imperative and we are always looking to improve this.
We have just achieved our gold star for the active travel Modeshift Star Award and we didn't quite fulfil our dream of being able to get any local companies or businesses to help contribute towards paying for a lollipop person. This would be for a year to help support our children crossing the busiest road next to our school.
Instead we have put together a small team and have decided to go crazy and attempt to run the Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon on 10th December 2017. Mrs Avola, Mrs Emmett, Mr Moloney, Mr Griffin and Mr Mehew will be dusting off their running trainers and trying to raise as much money as they can to achieve this. Please, please join us to raise as much as we can for the children's benefit and safety. Look out for them out and about in Milton Keynes training and please do come along on the day to also cheer them on and to show your support for the school.......

Thank you so much for all your support so far. Unfortunately due to the weather conditions the race has been postponed until Sunday 18th February 2018, which now gives us more time to train and of course fundraise........!!
