    Story

Hi, Im Ruth, and for many years I have had a dream, and idea, call it what you may but it has been lodged in my heart firmly and will not go away. The seed was planted. And so I have started up my little charity , Ezra's Home of Hope Foundation with some of my very good friends. Our ultimate goal is to have a home that offers hope for street children in the Philippines and a centre for destitute families.. this is way in the future.. so to begin with our first ever project is to give 100 homeless and destitute families and children a Christmas food Box.

Each food box will cost approximately £4 and will contain basic staple foods. Rice, Noodles, Tins of fish, beef and Pork, a treat of some biscuits and if budget permits some fresh fruit.

Part of Ezra's team are based in Pasay Manilla, and have been though similar situations to those we would like to help. They know who needs help most and are setting up a team of volunteers to work on the purchasing, packaging and delivery.

Food for the boxes will be purchased in local stores, supporting small local businesses. this is the most cost effective way to do this and make the most of your donations. The other half of the team is based in Pembrokeshire U.K where we will be running fund raising events, and setting up our charity through the correct channels.

I have been told plenty of times don't run before you can walk... but in my heart I know I have to run with this one. I'm a Nursery Nurse, and I have always known I have to do something to help children less fortunate than my own, who have now all grown up...

Ezra's Home Of Hope Foundation, with your help, will make a difference, even if it is only small in comparison to the problem, even a small amount will give a little hope. one Christmas box will bring a smile, and a smile is priceless.

I am a frustrated nursery nurse. For years I have wanted to do something to help children less fortunate than my own, the ones who don't have a childhood, the ones who have to fight to survive. Families I have always thought are so important. Love is the key
