Last week I saw a post on a facebook community group advertising 3 little guinea pigs available for free. Every time I see one of these posts my heart sinks, being terrified of where they'd end up, either as being used as toys for children or worse... cheap pet food! Thankfully they were local to me so I reached out and now all 3 piggies are safe.

These girls are really lovely, there are 2 american piggies and one Rex, each little lady is around 3 years old and all appear to be in good health asides from some overrown toe nails which have now been trimmed, but I really want to get them checked over by a vet to check their teeth etc as I have no idea when they last had any check ups.

While they came with an enclosure and run, they are each below minimum space requirements for 3 piggies and also fairly old and worn (the outdoor run is missing half a roof meaning they can't use it unless I'm there to watch over them as it's just not safe!) so I now need to invest in more species appropriate and more secure habitats for them so they can live the happy and healthy lives they deserve.

Having 4 rescue ponies, 2 rescue dogs, and 2 rescue hens already funds are a little tight, but I want these 3 girls to have the BEST life possible. If you are in a better finacial position that I am, and can spare even just £1 to help improve these little furry people's lives then it would be greatly, greatly appreciated!
