Hi I’m Fern, I’m fundraising for Girlguiding N W England for a community trip to India on the Mandore project in July 2017. It’ll be hard work but lots of fun Eg: painting buildings, building benches & creating an environment suitable for better learning. I will also be involved in helping children develop their English by chatting & teaching them fun Guiding games. I will also work in local villages & help deliver basic healthcare, improving the safety of domestic cooking in villages. The trip requires substantial fundraising of £2,100. This opportunity will allow me to see a new country & cultures by being part of it. Volunteering will help me to work part of a team within this successful project.
