Hello and thank you for landing at my Just Giving page.

My name is Ffion and I'm trying to raise money for the United Space School in Houston, Texas. I've been fortunate to be chosen as one of only two students in Wales to be sent to NASA in July this year to experience their students 'Mission to Mars' space programme!

It's a joint project between NASA and the University of Houston Clear Lake, where every year they give the opportunity for 50 students from 25 countries around the world to come together and learn more about space exploration and the benefits it can bring to us humans and the world in general.

The International Space School encourages students to gain support from individuals and local organisations with they aim of showcasing their work and to promote potential links between the UK and the US.

My task is to raise £750 for the International Space School so they can continue their work and £1,250 for my airfare to get to Houston. I've been lucky enough to have already raised £950 from some generous family and friends.

Thank you for visiting my page and hopefully support a fantastic opportunity to build Wales' international profile and create friendships that will last a lifetime. To be a part of the future is quite an experience and as they say "The adventure has only just begun!".
