I am taking part in STOPTOBER, and not drinking alcohol for 30 days.

I am raising funds for a small local charity that has been supporting local families with disabilities for more than 25 years. SNAP is a parent based charity that offers families the opportunity to go on day trips, outings and an annual holiday as a whole family. Like myself there are many families that wouldn't go on foreign holiday on their own, due to the stress that goes along with having a disabled person travelling with you. My son gets very distressed when his normal routine is changed, so going on holiday would be a nightmare if not for the other families travelling with us. By having others around you that understand the difficulties makes travelling easier. It also means that as young adults with additional needs they can still go on holiday with their friends.
