Our beautiful eco-built Village Hall was built in 2005 and is now looking a bit tired! It needs painting throughout and the sports hall floor needs refurbishing. Being a large, light and airy hall, this isn’t going to be cheap. We have been very lucky to be awarded a grant from the National Lottery Awards for All, but we are still a bit short, which is hopefully where you can help.

Our Hall is a vital asset for our Village and wider community, but being such a small Village, large projects like this are a bit tricky for us to finance. We try to generate as much income as we can for the Hall through bookings and fundraising events which keeps the Hall going, but we do need some help.

We have 12 regular groups using the Hall with other large social events throughout the year. It’s a great venue for a wedding or a party with doors opening out onto our immaculate playing fields with views across the Somerset Levels. It’s such a great place to bring the community together, so it’s vital the Hall is in good condition to keep the bookings coming in.
