Flynn is a 4 year old guinea pig who is usually very cheeky and lively - however, during the last week of March, Flynn suddenly became unwell - struggling to go to the toilet, passing blood and squeaking in discomfort.

He immediately went to a local vet who thought that Flynn may have a urinary tract infection.

Today, Flynn lost interest in food, passed more blood and was in obvious discomfort. This time, Flynn went to a specialist exotic pet vet - who carried out an X-ray and discovered that Flynn has at least one kidney stone that needs urgent surgery to remove it.

Flynn is due to have an emergency operation at 9am on Tuesday 4th April 2017 at an exotic animal specialist in Solihull.

So far, his treatment has already cost £140 - and the vet anticipates that Flynns further treatment could cost up to £600.

Debbie, Flynn's owner, has been signed off work for the past 2 years and only has a limited income and is worried about how to pay for his treatment.

If anyone can be so kind to donate anything, no matter how small the donation, it would be a huge contribution and help ease the worry off her mind.

Debbie hates asking for help - but this operation has come as an unexpected shock.
