Weʼve raised £143 to build a roof for the cats at the Newquay RSPCA animal shelter! They are getting wet when it rains and their beds and toys are too : (

Story

THIS IS A GREAT CAUSE....

The many beautiful cats that currently call Newquay's RSCPA Animal Centre their home, are in need of rain protection! The cats have lovely caged runs which allow them to spend time outdoors aswell as inside. The only problem is that when it rains they get soaked! Many of the cats are too frightened to come inside meaning they will sit out in the rain - they get very wet as does their bedding and blankets. SOGGY BEDS Oh no!!!

Whiskers is on a mission to raise £1500 for a roofed walkway outside the runs. This will protect the cats from the rain allowing them to comfortably relax outside whatever the weather.

We have the builders in place ready to do the work...we just need to raise the funds!

Thank you so much to you very lovely people who supported this cause! We had a great fundraising evening and, with these funds included, we have raised almost £1000! We are just waiting to hear from the RSPCA Cornwall Branch to see if they are able to contribute the remaining amount needed to then go ahead with the building work! If they are not able to contribute I will do another event and have the full amount raised by Christmas! Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much, I REALLY appreciate your help xxxxx
