Well its finally happened, Fran has coerced me into doing a 5K 'fun' run and to further compound matters we'll be dressed as Santas. No doubt Fran will be speeding ahead but if I'm lucky I'll sprain an ankle and spend the morning sipping tea in a St John Ambulance tent.

Personal woes aside we are trying ro raise money for Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, a very worthy cause you can read more about below. If you feel like donating it would be very much appreciated and rest assured I at least will be begrudgingly earning each one of your precious pennies with pain, sweat and almost certainly tears.

We're running in the Victoria Park Santa Run on Sunday 3rd December.

Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park offers everyone a breathing space in the heart of East London. This woodland cemetery is a unique place of transformation: a people’s cemetery, a place for remembrance, a sanctuary for humans as well as nature, a place for festivals, field studies and forest schools.

The Friends are an award-winning local charity working to protect, conserve and care for the Cemetery Park and surrounding land. Founded in 1990, our skilled staff and volunteers across nature and heritage bring energy, knowledge and vision to the shape and future of the site for the benefit of all who use it.
