The Free Spiritual Centre is an entirely volunteer led organisation and is almost entirely dependent on member donations and annual fund raising activities. It is only through these sources of funding has our organisation remained sustainable and has continued to be able to deliver services and events within the community. 

We have for the past two years successfully carried out fundraisers and as a result of this our community participation, projects and activities have continued to flourish. Our Friendship Café 'Come Dine with Us' project has continued and has gone from strength to strength running sessions catering for up 45 people per session; this year we have also had the great honour of hosting a number of Syrian families who have moved into Pendle. Our funds have enabled us to continue at each session to serve a hot freshly cooked 3 course meal free of charge to those that attend; those who have a range of issues including but not limited to; homelessness, poverty, mental health, depression and isolation.

- Climbing Scafell Pike

We are pleased to announce that this year's annual fundraising activity will be taking place ‪on Saturday 9th September 2017‬ and is a climb up Scafell Pike. Scafell Pike is the highest mountain peak in England and is located in the Lake District National Park, we attach for you a flyer for the event.

As stated, our organisation continues to operate on a volunteer basis with funding for our activities coming primarily from generous member donations and past fundraising activity. As an organisation we have big aspirations and plans for the forthcoming year that include in addition to continuing to deliver our existing programmes; taking up office space and extending the scope and range of programmes and activities that are currently delivered.
