Our Ladies football team will be walking over 200K on Saturday 6th March in aid of charities Refuge and Unicef, which were collectively chosen by the group.

Frenford Clubs have been doing their best to support those struggling during COVID through a food bank and distributing food parcels for those in need, but the women's football team agreed we can still do more to help!

Why REFUGE?

We felt that during lockdown, the suffering from domestic violence has increased and this is evident by the number of Food Parcels Frenford Clubs have been delivering to survivors who have been moved for safety reasons.

Why UNICEF?

Poverty across the world has also been growing at an alarming rate, with the innocent suffering if children in Yemen heartbreaking for us to witness.

What are we doing?

We decided to raise money in the form of a sponsored walk/run, aiming to raise over £6,000 as a team!

Over 30 players and the management team will leave their homes at 12pm and will walk around 5-10km each, individually (due to COVID, this cannot be done together as a team) but we aim to start together at the same time.

We will be posting updates on social media and the count will stop once all participants have reached home!

East participant must have a sponsor for every kilometre walked and our generous sponsors Lint Group will be sponsoring the team for every kilometre walked!
