We are part of a team who are hosting charity event on the 29th October, 2016 in support of Ward 84, at the Royal Manchester Children’s hospital, who treat childhood cancer. They take care and support so many families, incredibly well, in such heart breaking circumstances.

This includes one of our best friend’s little girl, Aoife. At 18 weeks old, Aoife was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. After 2 years of an intense and toxic chemotherapy treatment, Aoife is now 3 and finished her last dose of treatment in October 2015. She is cancer free and is in remission.

We are arranging this to say a huge thank you to them for saving Aoife’s life, for looking after Mairead and Adam, and their immediate families, so well and hundreds of other families in the same unthinkable positions. Ward 84 is a place where incredible expertise and genuine care offer enormous comfort and above all hope to families in the most desperate of circumstance.
