Crumpsall Vale IMC is a state-of-the-art Intermediate Care Centre at North Manchester Hospital Campus providing rehabilitation for the patients discharged from all major hospitals and community following a serious health conditions. This 24 bedded unit is playing a vital role in getting patients back to their normal life. This unit has been a blessing for many patients who spend weeks and weeks in the four walls of ICU during the COVID 19 pandemic.

The small garden outside the unit was well enjoyed by the patients. The garden requires maintenance and planting new set of bedding flowers and fruit trees. The patients admitted to this unit not only requires physical rehabilitation but they also need mental stimulation to overcome the trauma they have undergone. What else would do better than a garden with a family of ducks and squirrels.

Friends Sporting Club is one of the most progressive club in Manchester with a steady rise in our stature and activities both in Sports as well in the Cultural and Philanthropic areas involving all communities. For all our efforts and good work in community, club has been recognised by many governing bodies including Manchester City Council. "FRIENDS BEYOND FIELDS" is a charity initiative by Friends Sporting Club Manchester, taking up this Garden Project to showcase our ongoing commitment to the local community and just to say "THANKS" to our NHS during COVID 19.
