During this unprecedented situation, the time for communities to work together and help each other to create a better standard has never been more important.

We at Fyvie Football Club have been truly humbled at the level of support financial and otherwise that we as a club and individuals have received from the local community since our return to competitive football.

That being said we feel it’s only right for us give something back.

The NHS and various care homes around the north east have always been heroes who selflessly take care of our sick and elderly as we all know, but the reports and footage we have seen in recent times of the stress and strains these fearless warriors are under has motivated us to complete a challenge to raise some much needed finances.

Now as you most likely be aware it would be untenable for us to include every facility in our efforts so we have decided to focus on the more local facilities to our team with those being Preston House Sheltered Housing in Fyvie and Badenscoth House Nursing Home near Rothienorman.

Starting on Friday 24th April and ending on Sunday 26th, we as individuals are going to collectively be cycling, running or walking a distance of 300 miles.

We came to this distance by totalling the distance round all of the away grounds we played at last season.

Any donations towards the cause are greatly appreciated by all of us taking part.
