British Heart Foundation - My second son Patrick was born with a congenital heart defect - he and many others are still with us today thanks to the research and hard work that the BHF do.

We are the some of the lucky ones. Each day is a new day that we are all still together and each day is very special. So for a bit of a challenge, my 'training team' have decided that I should do the London Triathlon and raise funds.

No one knows what will happen in the future but hopefully with help to fund research, BHF can help save more lives and provide help, support and an ear to listen to for families like mine.
The BHF have helped us and we would like to help them help other people .

Training has been fitted into late nights, lunch times, and lots of help from my team. So please help us to give something back.

I'll be swimming 1.5km in the Docklands in London in a wetsuit that isn't for the claustrophobic, before biking 40km and then running 10km around London.
I'm competing along with a team from work at TSB Bank where we're all trying to #beatheboss as our CEO is a regular on the circuit. I'm sure my support team will be louder than his if I get merit for that!
