Cure4Cam - Lets help this young boy get the help he so desperatley needs.

Cameron has received radiotherapy but the brain tumour itself is inoperable and his family believe that a new chemotherapy treatment in Mexico is promising. They are faced, however, with having to raise £300,000 for the likely 10 months of treatment required. Diagnosed after being taken to the GP to see why he was slurring his words, just a few hours later Cameron's family received the shock diagnosis.

The condition is so rare that Cameron is the only one in Northern Ireland to suffer from it. He has three wee sisters - Chloe, 9, Courtney, 2 and 17 week-old Caitlin who are all praying for their big brother to get better.

I am hoping to raise funds for this young man by reaching the summit of Slieve Donard, the tallest of all the mourne mountain on the 30th December. . This is nothing compared to the mountains facing Cameron, but hopefully this can help get him closer to leading the healthy and happy life that every 12 year old boy should.
