GCFC 'Wax the Lads' Fundraiser Event 2018/19 - A £5 Donation will also allow you to pull a wax strip off a Player of your choice.

Goodricke College football club for the start of the 2018/2019 season will be fundraising to raise funds to assist the club in financing equipment, facilities and kits for the upcoming season. To encourage supporters to donate, we will be holding a 'Wax the Lads' Fundraiser Event where the whole squad will endure a painful afternoon of having their bear legs and chest waxed. Every donation helps, but a '£5 Donation' entitles the donator to a wax strip to pull off a player of their choice. The date of the event is TBD but it will be held at the start of Term after Freshers Week. The venue for the event will be at our very own Goodricke College Nucleus on Heslington East. The whole event should be a laugh and lots of fun, especially since friends, family and foe have an opportunity to inflict some pain on all of the players. We receive very little University support so all the money raised will go directly into the club to support our cause! Reaching our target will not only benefit the Goodricke football team, it will benefit Goodricke and the Goodricke community as a whole.
