Story
Sophie and Martin are running the Hackney Half Marathon on 20th May for the Guernsey Disability Alliance (GDA). As a British Crown dependency, disabled people living in Guernsey do not have equal rights and opportunities akin to those living in the UK.
Rob Platts MBE is a founding member of the GDA which has been working for 10 years to improve equality of opportunity for disabled islanders and carers through:
1) Promoting rights
2) A collective voice
3) Empowering disabled people
Any donation to this charity, which is very close to our hearts, will be greatly appreciated personally and by the GDA.
