A dear friend of mine, Jamie has been poorly since 2014. During this time he has been misdiagnosed with a number of things which has resulted in his illness lasting for nearly 4 years. He has been passed on from hospital to hospital but still he is not well and now has to consider seeking private healthcare in order to get the treatment he desperately needs. During this time, he has been too unwell to work and is currently travelling to London in order to try and get the help he needs from a specialist Bacteriology Hospital. Unfortunately, without working, and costs spiralling, he now desperately needs to get well so he can start to enjoy his life again and get back to work.
Anyone who knows Jamie, will know he is unassuming and does not want to be a trouble to anyone. Which is why we now want to do what we can to help fund private treatment so he can start to enjoy life again.
It's not much to ask, to be well enough to go out, see friends and work. Basically to have a normal life. After 4 years of illness, we just want him to be well again and to become again, the Jamie we all know and love.
