On the 12th-13th of April me and a few friends will be doing a sponsored bike ride to Blackpool and back (around 50 miles there and 50 miles back!)
We are doing the bike ride in order to raise money for 'stand up to cancer' a charity everybody has heard about but which affects the lives and families of many. Stand up to cancer fund research into various different types of cancer and into new therapies that will help those with cancer for years to come and most importantly; save lives!!!

My life was affected a few years ago, when cancer took away my grandad followed shortly by my grandma. It was the worst time for the whole family, watching their pain and their suffering and knowing there was nothing out there that was going to help them. No way of them ever getting better. Now I'm older, I've set my mind to help in any way I can to stop people going through the same, any donations will help change so many lives!

Millions of families all over the world are affected by cancer and if this research can help stop the pain and suffering of billions then please try and donate anything you possibly can to help this amazing charity and help those whose lives are on hold as they pray for a new therapy to be found!!
