This is a page is for George Russell who, in 2009 at the tender age of 21 months old, suffered a spinal stroke in the C4/C5 region of his spinal cord. This has left him diagnosed with incomplete tetraplegia, also known as quadriplegia.

We are hoping to raise enough money to buy George a much needed, larger wheelchair and one that will allow him to grow/develop as he reaches his teenage years.

Unfortunately the funding from the NHS is simply not enough to get anywhere near the cost of the chair and anything we can raise over and above the funding will help and take the strain off his parents.

In September 2017 Paul (George's Father), Taylor (George's Cousin), Nick Groves and James Maidment (Paul's good friends) and myself (George's Uncle) will be taking up the challenge of running the Great Windsor Half Marathon. We kindly ask you to swap your sympathy for us slogging over 13.1miles into donations and to please donate whatever you can to help reach our target and to help keep a smile on the face of a very cheeky but happy, bright, and wonderful lad.
