This is a story of young (36) single mother of three young children.

Rosa underwent treatment for breast cancer 2 years ago. It was a long, physically and emotionally painful journey. Both of her breasts had to be removed. But even though her treatment was successful she was told that her body grows “cancer gene” and that she could get another cancer in the future.

4 months ago Rosa started to experience pain in her hip. She repeatedly visited her GP and complained about the pain. She mentioned several times that she is ex cancer patient and that she should be referred to specialists but this information was always ignored by her GP and she was always sent home with different painkillers. Her condition was treated as sciatica.

In the Middle of March she visited different GP who was horrified by previous treatments and was going to refer her to specialists immediately but as she was leaving his surgery she fell and broke her hip. CT Tests were done to find where exactly the fracture was and that’s when doctors discovered that she had a cancerous cells in that bone and also in her lungs. We understand that correct actions by her GP most probably wouldn’t save her from new cancer but it would definitely spared her from broken hip and she could face new cancer treatments from the comfort of her own home. She would be able to be with her beloved girls and She would most likely still be able to work and provide for her family.

She has now underwent operation on her hip and is facing long recovery as well as new cancer treatments.
