A funeral service for Kay will be held on Friday 16th November at 12:30pm at the Gedling Crematorium, NG4 4QH. The service will be followed by a celebration of Kay’s life at the Nag’s Head, NG14 6DD. Flowers are optional. There will be a donation box on the day for Hayward House where Kay was supported in the last weeks of her life or cheques, payable to Hayward House, can be sent to: Claverton & District Funeral Services, NG14 6FP. Please wear a splash of colour in memory of Kay’s love of flowers and her bright and colourful personality.

Richard is very sorry to announce that at 9am on Tuesday 30th October Kay finally succumbed to cancer after a brave and dignified battle. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunty, and friend and important to each and every one of us who generously donated. She only made it home twice – once for a week and a second time for an afternoon, the steps and railings and other mobility aids we were able to fund from your generosity made a huge difference to her. She was, and is, so loved. She always will be. Be at peace Kay.

Hi All We are delighted to announce that Kay returned home yesterday and she and Rich are looking forward to being back together in their own home. this has been greatly helped by all your love and support - so thank you! Kay will now undergo further treatment as an outpatient, but will enjoy being able to potter around in her garden in the meantime. Much love to you all from Kay and Rich xxxx
