    Story

I will go to Greece to volunteer to help refugees stranded at the squatted buildings in Athens and other locations such as Skaramagas. This is my trip number 14 to help out. The cold weather has started and these refugees are living in terrible conditions, completely inhumane. Many live in tents which hardy protect them and a huge number live in unprotected squatted buildings. In one of the buildings there are 6 babies aged between 2-4 months. There are also 2 babies living in camping tents. Refugees are receiving very little help from small NGOs and no government is providing any support.
In squatted buildings, there is zero support except from locals and very few individual volunteers like me. Last month i moved 3 families with babies to flats, paid their rent and living costs. I also helped families in traveling to join their partners in Germany by providing tickets and visas fees.
The number of refugees who need urgent help is increasing and it is why I am going every month.

Thank you for supporting the trip. ALL donations go to refugees and no personal expenses will be taken.
