Weʼve raised £155 to help fund urgent surgery for this little labrador cross abandoned puppy. He was knocked over yesterday and his leg is badly broken.

Story
This gorgeous 3 month old Labrador cross was abandoned a few weeks ago, we paid for his first injections. Our Portuguese neighbour said she wanted to keep him, and we agreed to help out with some of the costs, food and injections. Unfortunately he was knocked over yesterday and we took him to vets. He has a very badly broken back leg. The vet said she could try to reset it but as it is broken on the joint the really needs surgery i.e. steel pins inserting, which would have to be performed by another vet. Costs quoted were €750 approximately. Our neighbour cannot afford this.
He is such an adorable loving dog, we feel he needs the best chance in his very young life.

8 years agoHello everyone, I had my operation yesterday, which my vet said went very well. I have 4 pins in my joint, which I will have to in for about 8 weeks. I have been out for short walk this morning as I have got to have exercise twice a day to enable me to start getting my joint working again. I will be on medication for awhile now, with further trips to vets for X-rays and eventually to have pins removed. I would like to thank everybody for their generous donations to enable me to eventually lead a normal life again.🐶

8 years agoMorning everybody, just to say that I am booked in to have my operation on Monday morning. I would also like to thank you all for your kind generous donations. I am in pain killers and antibiotics until Monday. I will send a selfie on Monday when I get home.
