Weʼve raised £1,035 to help with the cost of taking my Mum back home to Haiti for treatment for a stroke and help with the cost of her NHS bill.

    Story

My Mum travelled from Haiti to London to visit me and the kids and she suffered a stroke. Unfortunately she forgot to include travel insurance before travelling so I now have a £2000 NHS bill to pay. I was advised by the consultant to take Mum back to Haiti for further tests and treatment. So in addition to taking on the NHS debt, I also have to book a flight for myself as she cannot travel on her own and also to change the return date on her ticket. Please help by donating whatever you can afford by Friday 3rd November as we're planning to fly to Haiti the following week. Thank you in advance for your support.

Mum is getting better, the blood pressure is still going up and down but I guess it will take some time to stay stable. This morning, I paid £700.00 to the hospital for the deposit. The final bill is 2,344.77 for medical fees here. Thanks again for your generosity! Thank you Chris for letting me use your credit card for the deposit.
