Many young children in India (Punjab) do not have the chance to get a decent childhood or an education.

Children under the age of 5 are forced to attend a so called "nursery" daily. This nursery is without a decent shelter, learning facilities, toilet facilities, activities or any toys. The children are forced to remain still for several hours and learn such things as the alphabet. Failing to do so would result in being punished with a stick.

My goal is to make a CHANGE and to provide them with a good shelter, toilet facilities, a white board & pens, toys, bean bags, cushions & small sofas for children to sit on rather than ragged cloths. Foam mats, story books, painting & colouring supplies.

I myself will be going to India and spending time with the villages children. Teaching them with love and care, giving them the chance to live like CHILDREN.

This project is very very close to my heart, mainly because this so called nursery lies in our family village.

To help promote this project, I will be colouring my hair several colours to spread awareness of the project. When I reach a certain target in donations I will be shaving all my hair off.
