Myself, Stephen and some very good friends of ours are taking part in Glow in the Park on 26th October. We are hoping to raise money for a number of charities that over the recent months have become important to us.
Our 2 year daughter was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment at RMCH. Her prognosis is excellent.
The support we have received has been unbelievable, and we want to raise money for the following charities to say thank you.
1) Ward 84 RMCH - most of the money will go here.
Elsie's care falls under Ward 84 the oncology specialist ward and the staff are amazing. We can't fault the care she has received.
2) Fight like a kid - provide bean bags to kids with cancer to help them to be comfortable at home.
3) Millies smiles - the day we arrived on the ward we were given a bag full of provisions for parents having to stay over in hospital.
There maybe more that we discovery on this journey.
