Love Nature, Love Peace and Love Friendship.

Art4U would like to raise £600 towards the cost of running the Friendship Tree Festival.

We need money to cover cost of stage hire, generator hire, publicity costs and public liability insurance.

The Festival is in its 11th year and reaches 100’s of people. It is organised by volunteers and up to 100 volunteers take part in performances and exhibitions on the day.

The FriendshipTree Festival began on 1st May 2010 as an artwork focused on 'Community' and 'Nature'. It was accompanied by an ephemeral, delicate, floating sculpture called Rainbow Bridge. The two pieces represented a journey to something nurturing and uplifting.

During the years that have passed our community and many visitors have added to it,creating the ever changing piece it is today.

Every year we 'recharge' the artwork with a festival celebrating Peace, Love, Friendship and Nature, a universal message of hope that has touched and transformed many thousands of people's lives, often in subtle and sensitive ways.
