Story
Aonghus is 4 and loves cycling. He decided he wants to do a challenge to raise money for people who don’t have enough food, who don’t have homes and who ‘have the same sickness as granny’. He set himself a target of cycling 1000 miles in a year and we suggested breaking it down into smaller chunks. His first challenge is to cycle 150 miles in the month of July and he hopes to raise some money for Moray Food Bank.

4 years agoHe did it! He completed his last cycle at 4:45 today and reached 150 miles! But it was not without drama. He was just 2 miles from finishing and he stopped to play around. He fell about 10ft from a tree and had to go to A&E. Luckily he escaped with cuts and bruises and when he got home he was determined to head back out for the last couple of miles. It helped that the journey was to the ice cream parlour! He’s such a trooper. We’re so very proud of him. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported him and helped raise an incredible amount!

4 years agoThis wee star decided he wanted to cycle to his granny’s house. So he set off this morning and cycled 19.3 miles from Fochabers to Cullen!!! I’m amazed by his energy and determination. Running total now 130.1 miles!!!
