Where to start...this is a desperste plea for financial help to get my friend out of her 20 year abusive relationship. she asked for help from council but they wont put her in a council property as matrimonial house in joint names.

Hope people are generous with this one. I too had to flee matrimonial home due to abuse & found no financial help out there unless your renting and have kids. Good luck to your friend.

Please help..a big ask my friend urgently needs to flee her 20 year abusive relationship. She needs £2000 in order to be able to pay deposit on a rental house and a months rent in advance to flee marital home after being refused by the council due to house being in joint names!
