WE NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE

As many of you know our Dad was diagnosed with throat and mouth cancer last feb and after a 11 hour life saving operation that involved him losing all his teeth, tongue and lower jaw bone he came through it, fought back and has been living a fairly responsible life since (minus the no eating and not being able to talk probably)

We got the devastating news on Friday that our Dad’s cancer has spread to his liver and lungs and is now terminal 😢😢 he has been given just months to live 😪 just 63 years old.

Guys Hospital have offered chemotherapy to start within next few weeks but this will only prolong his life by a few more months. He wants to do it as isn’t ready to give up yet.

Guys Hospital have recommended he draws up a bucket list of things he would like to do!!

Among a few things (oh he has a list 🤣 ) He wants to do a river boat cruise, the boat at Maidstone, go up the shard, another stay at Ashford or an equivalent one, says he’s never stayed at a hotel in London maybe the Sunborn Yacht. He has said 2 big ones on his list are He has asked to go to Ireland to see where his Dad grew up and to a beer festival in Germany as has never experienced this. As you can imagine the insurance alone is ridiculous 😱 (prices are coming in well over £3k!) to cover his health needs while out of the country so myself and my siblings have come up with the idea to host a Charity Fun night! We have a magician that is going to entertain and possibly a singer too. Date will be 7th July just in process of sorting out the venue.

Will let everyone know the venue/times etc hopefully by end of week and we are hoping to get as many friends and family there as possible!!

Any big donations will we auction off (we possibly have a signed Manchester United shirt being donated fingers crossed)

We are not just aiming to raise some money to help our Dad enjoy his last few months but to also give him a fantastic night of laughter and fun and to make memories for all us family that we can look back on in years to come.

Our parents bave been fosters carers for over 16yrs now seeing 15 little ones off for adoption. They currently have 2 children in their care which are going to have to leave by the end of May for obvious reasons as our parents can no longer care for them but this also means they lose their income 😱😱😱
