Story
Hello,
We are a group of old colleagues and friends of Lin Insley who was diagnosed with a 4cm, stage 4, aggressive malignant brain tumour. In February she had surgery to remove as much as the tumour as possible, they were successful in removing 98% of the tumour however because of how aggressive it is, it was likely to return. In July the family received the devastating news that the tumour has already grown back and the treatment Lin received wasn't successful.
The family are trying all sorts of alternative therapies in an attempt to save and prolong Lin's life. There are doctors in both India and Texas who think they can help, however potentially flying her out to either country will cost a lot of money as well as the other alternative treatments they are hoping to try.
We wanted to come together to help this wonderful family and our friend Lin. To do this we will be walking up Snowdon on the 30th of September. We are a mixed ability group (who haven't trained) and will be doing this as a team of old colleagues who have all worked with Lin at some point through out her career.
We would appreciate any donations to help us reach our target.
Thank you
Team JJB 😊
