Story
Gracie was diagnosed with Right Hemiplegia, a form of Cerebral Palsy along with epilepsy which means that she is susceptible to unpredictable seizures that at times can be potentially life-threatening. Gracie’s recent seizure lasted an unbelievable 3 hours.
To help Gracie’s parents, to become more alert in the event of her seizures whilst sleeping during the night, would be a special epilepsy monitor affixed to Gracie’s bed that alerts and wakes them immediately when she is having a seizure and would be hugely beneficial. Vital minutes can be lost when Gracie is not attended to quickly at the first stage of a seizure that could potentially become life-changing or even life-threatening.
Am honoured to have the opportunity to support my cousin James Baldry and his gorgeous family...wife Kim, son Liam and daughter Gracie. We are a very close family and to hear the challenges they have every day is hard to hear and I want to help out in anyway I can and funding for this type of equipment is very high on the priority list.
I am entering the Great East Half Marathon on 24th September and am kindly asking for you to sponsor me please.
In the past I have only ever entered three 5K races, so this has been extremely challenging and very frightening. Though what challenges I face on the 24th is not even a fraction close to what little Gracie faces every day.
If you are there on the day, please do cheer for me! Thank you in advance for your support and sponsorship in pulling altogether for Gracie.

Big thanks ❤ It was a hotty-hot day for sure but having the honor to run this race for Gracie was what got me round – thank you Gracie! And with your amazing support and sponsorship so far we have managed to raise a fantastic… £595, which will help contribute towards the much needed epilepsy monitor.
