Story
I'm running the Mhor Marathon (https://www.runmhor.net/mhormarathon) on August 12th and, as I train, I want to raise funds for a great cause.
Brothers in Arms is a relatively new project that aims to fill a void in the support network available to men in Scotland who are down or in crisis and are dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. It is run on an entirely voluntary basis so every penny raised goes towards their projects.
Read more from Brothers In Arms below, from their website (https://www.brothersinarmsscotland.co.uk/) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BIAtogether) ....
We want to raise awareness of what in Scotland is something that is not openly acknowledged, that men feel unable to talk, or admit when they have a problem and by challenging a culture that prevents men seeking help when they need it.
