Each year Gransha Taxis supports a local hero in our community but this year we have chosen a whole group of them!

Families With Ups And Downs is a community organisation which brings families with a child/young adult with Down Syndrome together from in and around Belfast.

The group was set up by parents of Downs children in 2009 and has grown greatly over the last few years. As a self funded group the families do all their own fundraising to run the group and organise events/trips for the children and their families.

They also hold monthly support meetings for the parents and run a ' Kids Club' . The children get the opportunity to participate in Drama, Music and Sing & Sign.

On Sunday 6th August 2017 Gransha Taxis' drivers will be holding a Football Match to help raise money for "Families with Ups and Downs".

We like to name this "Day Dreamer ‘V’ Night Hawks" and half time entertainment will be provided by the young people from the group. We would love to see your support this event.

All donations are welcomed to help us reach our target, and much needed support on the day is welcome.
