Assalamu alaikum brothers and sisters

I want to direct you to a dire matter which as a ummah we will be held accountable for on our lack of action

The refugee crisis in Greece is beyond imagination with stories from the camps sounding worse than the war the refugees fled from.

Mockery, abuse, removing of hijabs, taking advantage of the weak and subjecting them to humiliation for basic rights such as food and nappies are frequent accurances.

We are asking for donations to meet the basic hygiene needs for our sisters and to clothe them with jilbabs, sending gifts for the children, provide them with clothing, and adult nappies for the disabled and necessities for the young.

“A Muslim is a brother of (another) Muslim, he neither wrongs him nor does hand him over to one who does him wrong. If anyone fulfils his brother’s needs, Allah will fulfil his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection” [Bukhari and Muslim].

“Allah supports His slave as long as the slave is supportive of his brother…”

“He who removes from a believer one of his difficulties of this world, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and he who finds relief for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him on the Day of Resurrection; he who covers up (the faults and sins) of a Muslim, Allah will cover up (his faults and sins) in this world and in the Hereafter. Allah supports His slave as long as the slave is supportive of his brother” [Muslim]

This is an obligation upon us! We either help them in this life or be asked about them in the next. Do not pass this page without a donation even if it's only £1.

Allah could easily take us out of our ease and put us in their difficulty SubhanaAllah. Let's not abandon them, show them we care, make duaa and ease for them their situation. And in turn their duaa may help save us from the fire and our donation will help ease for us our questioning.
