The long and the short of it is that God spoke to Tim and I separately a few years ago about moving our family to London to be part of Revelation Church in Camden. We made a decision to be obedient, to trust and follow Him, no matter how the path unfolded. And it hasn't unfolded as we had expected but His plan is always good - that's why we trust Him, right?!

The main challenge has always been that we haven't been able to afford to move from Norfolk to London. A year ago, God challenged us through various different conversations and convictions about our money belonging to Him and about using what we do have rather than focusing on what we don't. So, in practical terms we have sold our house in Norfolk and are planning to use the capital from the house sale to start renting in Camden.

Here's where this Just Giving page comes in. We are fully prepared to cover the cost of living in London by using the money from our house sale, but we also have some promises from God about abundant provision and we are holding the two things together and trusting Him for each step. We are aware that some people would like to help by donating some funds to us so have set up this page as an easy way to enable that to happen. There's a one off or ongoing monthly option.

The £40,000 target is just a way of indicating what the cost of renting in London for a year would cost. Tim and I will still be working and so our salaries will obviously go towards this as well.

The other thing we feel God has for us is partnering with him in investing in a church plant situation. We would like to use some of our capital to buy a property in Liverpool, where Relational Mission is looking to start a new church, to enable someone to move to be part of the church plant. We are excited about investing in God's kingdom in this way.

So what are we moving to London to do?! Well, that's a good question and one that I can only partly answer at the moment. I will still be working for Relational Mission and Tim will look for building work in the area. We want to serve Revelation Church in the best way we can and have a heart to disciple others to grow in both their character and gifting. We have a promise from God about having an Isaiah 35 house, which you can read about here. Apart from this, we will have to wait and see how God leads us.
