    Story

To raise funds and awareness for ARNI and Southampton Veterans drop in centre. Lawrence, our stroke survivor, Rob and Kieron our Veterans will be walking the length of Hadrian's wall (87.5 miles) over a period of 3 days, come rain or shine, across the bumpy terrain that comes with the English and Scottish border.

It is planned that a rough average of 30 miles will be completed per day with a stop over between each day for much needed rest and food!

Photos and videos will be uploaded daily to keep everyone updated on progress.

ABOUT ARNI - We are currently in our 17th year of voluntary work and we are committed to teaching stroke and other
acquired brain injury survivors to gain better functional control, using vital funds raised from charity work, fundraising and donations. Our approach to stroke rehabilitation is
dynamic, innovative, and linked directly to the very latest neuro-rehabilitation evidence base. We
have over 100 highly qualified independent therapists and trainers around the UK, trained via our
'Functional Rehabilitation & Exercise Training after Stroke' Qualification and helping 1000's of individuals on their road back to independence in their own homes, supporting them to re-learn skills such as walking, dressing and making meals.

ARNI supports the work of the hospital therapists by supporting YOU when
    your care pathway ends.

About Southampton Drop-in Centre - After service support, unlike your military uniform, is not ‘a one size fits all’ which is why we need places
like the drop-in centre. A place where you can come and get support, advice and a hot meal. Our
discussions centre on providing local Veterans with a helping hand, whether that is by getting them out
of the house and in amongst company, connected with local support, into housing and back into
employment and we rely on fundraising and donations to support this valuable service.

Follow 1 stroke survivor, 2 veterans as they follow Hadrian's Wall 87.5 miles from East to West.
