13.1 miles is a half marathon, that is what I will run everyday for the whole 31 days of March in order to fundraise for the C.A.R.E packages in our local A&E department (Royal Glamorgan Hospital). This is an initiative set up by RGH A&E to provide a bereavement package to those who lose someone in the department. C.A.R.E stands for compassion and respect for every loss.

It's sole aim is to provide keep sake memories for those who unfortunately go through such a difficult time in order to bring comfort to families. The department provides families with a little bag containing the following things: a wooden heart where the finger print of a loved one is placed, a candle, some forget me not seeds, tissues, an organza bag for a lock of hair and a sympathy card.

This project is funded solely by donations and has already helped so many families, please help me help our local emergency department to help make a difference to so many families.

Each bag costs approximately £3 and every penny raised will go toward helping as many families as possible during one of their most difficult times.
