Hi my name is Hannah,
I am fundraising to go to Borneo for 4 weeks in July 2018 with camp internationals. Where I will be taking part in many community projects. Such as helping build kindergartens and school kitchens as south East Asia attendance to secondary schools is frighteningly low of 1/3 of 11 year olds not attending secondary education. Instead these innocent children are working to assist their families. Also I will building sufficient water supplies and wells as the sanitations in this country is very inadequate and some times these people only can rely on unsafe drinking water. Furthermore this country is home to the biggest oil palm plantations which this oil is transported to you and me where the oil (that is in sweets such as maltase's and crème eggs) is causing deforestation across the region and destroying habitats for endangered animals such as orang-utan.Therefore I will also be helping plant more trees and crops to help deal with deforestations that is also contributing to global warming.
They will be a wide variety of events taking place in-between the next 16 months; in which i will keep you all up to date with. Please help me raise the money to help prevent poverty that is lived in , in Asia. Even if it means teaching a child in Asia some English or even make them smile when playing a game off football or other activities with them or even teaching them the song head shoulders knees and toes.
Any donations will be very much appreciate no matter how small.
