For all of you who are aware our mam, Sylvia Humphreys, was diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer, Peritoneal malignancy and cancer of unknown primary (CUP) along with diverticulitis. March 2017. This is a incurable condition that she will have to live. Thankfully she was put into remission December 2017 after 7 months of invasive chemotherapy she felt so positive after her body reacted so well to her treatment, man and her partner Mick have booked a life long dream holiday of mams to celebrate her recover to JAMAICA! We as a family were so excited to get her away for some well deserve relaxation and pampering, as she has been through so much but unfortunately she lives with horrific symtoms on a day to day basis. Her pain is mostly controlled with high medicated prescribed drugs and obviously because her condition is life long the insurance for this amazing holiday is a lot more than what we were all expecting. We as a family have disgust cancelling the holiday or possibly postponing it but unfortunately this could be mams last chance to for fill this once in a life time dream because sadfully IF or WHEN the cancer comes back she will not be medically fit o go. We as a family are trying to do as much as possible to help towards this insurance but thought we would each out to all our friends who love our mam as much as we do . As the saying goes.........every little helps.
