Story
My name is Harrison Taylor and I am 11. I have a condition called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy , which is a muscle wasting condition. In 2017 I discovered powerchair football , As soon as I started playing I loved it. When I stopped walking in September 2019 I really struggled with anxiety and believed I would never achieve anything in my life but over the last few months I have been working hard to be more positive and have decided to make myself a goal of one day playing for England in Powerchair football. The team I play for now are in the northwest league but they do not have the specialist chair I need to reach my full potential. I am looking to get a Strike Force powerchair but they cost a massive amount of money. I am going to be doing some small fundraising events with my family and friends to try to raise as much money as I can t9 get my own chair.
