Hello,
My name is Harry and I work for Independence Matters. I am raising funds to help provide an outside patio area for our customers at our Day Centre for elderly and people with dementia.

We have a nice garden for them but we want to lay some slabs and create a patio area, so our older people can sit and enjoy the garden when the weather is nice. Some of them use wheelchairs and walking aids which is difficult over grass. A nice flat patio area would make it safer and easier when they go into the garden to enjoy the fresh air, the flowers, plants, birds and squirrels.

I have been growing my hair long for a few years now and plan to cut it short on Thursday 29th June at Rosewood day Centre, to raise money towards this project. In addition, my cut hair will be sent to the little princess trust to be made into a wig for a child, boy or girl with cancer or a condition where they have lost their hair. Each paving slab costs less than a fiver and your donation will go towards making this a reality. In the first week of fundraising I've been sponsored £200 directly.
