Chloe was born a tiny 5lb 13oz a tiny doll absolutely perfect!
3 weeks later Chloe had her first seizure! I was always warned about these but never thought I'd have to deal with them.
Chloe had these horrible seizures on a daily basis and was put on lots of medication to subside them. She has had MRIs, muscle biopsies and lots of tests and still no diagnosis although mitochondrial disease was a possibility from a muscle biopsy.
The medication has helped with her seizures but has left her severely delayed in her development. She has just taught herself to sit up!!! She has abs of steel!!
The next thing is to help her to strengthen her legs and hopefully walk!!!
We have discovered something called the"upsee firefly" it is a harness strapped to an adult and she is attached to the adult and can therefore walk with the support of the adult. We would love to get this for Chloe so she can see the world from our view instead of a laid back position in a Push chair.
