Throughout life I have always faced challenged myself on a variety of levels as my friends already know but when a group of us got to talking about charity events, I thought why not lets get involved so together we decided to do a 46 mile bike ride YIKES!! Not only have I not ridden a bike since I was 17 years old (which will be a challenge in itself) but when we first started to talk about it I wasn't the fittest of people either (so again another challenge). What keeps me so determined to complete this is the fact that I maybe able to make that difference for individuals facing palliative care (end of life) and hopefully enable them to feel more comfortable in their last days.
