Story
I started making these headbands for the team at 1 Oak Home Care where I have a team of carers who are now wearing masks at all times when with clients.
These headbands stop the need for frontline staff having to put the masks around their ears, which can and do cause irritation to their ears.
They are so helpful as the last thing you want is pain in the ears when fighting Covid-19.
I want to expand these out to the NHS staff at local hospitals and need to raise funds for supplies!
£500 should make over 250 headbands and any additional raised will go towards more supplies. All money donated will be spent solely on supplies, we have a team of volunteers who are giving their time to make these headbands and transport to the hospitals.

4 years agoSo we've started production! Supplies are in and the production line is busy. Should be getting to the Hospitals before the weekend. Thanks for everyone's continued support. We are smashing the targets and it is an amazing feat!

4 years agoSo we have updated the target from £300 to £500 as we hit the target in less than an hour! Thanks to all the people who have already donated, we really appreciate your support! So far we have ordered in enough stock to make 150 with more being ordered asap! That's a massive 150 nurses that will appreciate your donation and have one less thing to worry about as they face the war on Coronavirus. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! Angel x
