This is Rowan. He lives in Swanley. He has a rare genetic condition called Tubulinopathy.

Due to the fact that his brain did not form correctly, he has profound and multiple learning difficulties. He is suspected to have autism too. He uses a wheelchair. He can display challenging behaviour.

He has incredible curly hair and a cheeky smile and everyone who meets him falls in love with him! He is an amazing little boy who tries so hard and makes his mum and dad proud, every day.

This is Xander, his big brother. Xander is profoundly deaf, autistic and has sensory processing issues. He is a very happy, quirky, loud and cheerful little boy! He wears glasses and 2 cochlear implants and works so hard. He is six years old.

They have two amazing parents. George and Kate...Kate is behind the camera!! Both parents work tirelessly to give the best opportunities to both boys and always see what they can do, not what they can't. But life is hard...their house is not adapted for the needs of the boys and life can seem an endless cycle of hospital appointments and paperwork, battling against 'the system'.

I want to raise money for them to use as they see fit. They have a local charity Step and Learn in Medway that Rowan goes to every Friday which helps with physiotherapy. They might choose to support that. But they also need a great deal of specialist equipment, some of which is very expensive.
